Saraswati

4 ft / 5.5 ft. Acrylic on canvas

Archival print on canvas, available in multiple print dimensions

When Saraswati entered the world, she did not arrive in peace. Desire followed her. Possession followed her. Even the gods struggled to understand what had appeared before them. Brahma sought to hold what could not be owned, and Bhairava emerged as a reminder that wisdom does not belong to those who seek to possess it.

At the center of this turmoil sits Saraswati, untouched. The lotus blooms, the veena rests, and knowledge remains what it has always been: freely offered, yet impossible to claim.

If even the goddess of knowledge could not enter the world without struggle, how can our own understanding arrive without it?
